A holistic and clean beauty approach to skincare. Meet Alie - an essential nature cosmetics brand inspired by nature, designed to enrich your skin and soul.


I had the exciting opportunity to design the branding language of a new organic cosmetics brand.
The goal was to create a modern and clean brand identity that will allow the company to inspire their target audience to use organic, clean and nature-inspired products.

PROJECT OVERVIEW

Understanding the context
Alie approached me to design the brand language for their essential oils cosmetics products. Their goal was to create a clean logo, package and brand elements that will allow them to inspire their target audience to use organic, clean and nature-inspired products. I immediately fell in love with their holistic approach to beauty and skincare. They wanted to highlight the beauty of nature in their product's brand.


THE PROCESS

The first step in the development of this new brand identity was creating the brief. Together with the client we defined the target audience, objectives, concerns, brand values, and the desired look and feel. With no further hesitation, I jumped into ideating. I created a moodboard with 3 different visual directions. Once the moodboard was approved, I started sketching and developing visual concepts for the logo and the brand assets.

 
 

SOLUTION

A modern, elegant and clean look and feel

The use of geometric shapes allowed me to create a dynamic and modern look and feel that would enhance the connection between the brand and its target users. The pastel colors and abstract shapes support the brand's value and evoke the organic feel inspired from nature. Overall the identity concept, colors, and shapes make Alie stand out from other cosmetics companies.

As a result, I created a branding style guide that connects to the brands' purpose of inspiring their target audience to use organic, clean and nature-inspired products. A brand that highlights the beauty of nature using earthy colors, abstract shapes, and herbs as the main visual elements.
